MAKANYANE SAFARI LODGE
Makanyane Safari Lodge is a luxurious new lodge,
situated on 1800 hectares of private ground in the 75 000 hectare
malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. Madikwe is home to lion, leopard,
elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, wild dog, cheetah, hyena, a
host of plains game species and over 360 bird species.
The eight luxurious suites nestle in lush forest on
the bank of the Marico River. Spectacular glass-walled bedrooms offer

MADIKWE HILLS PRIVATE GAME
LODGE
Madikwe Hills is set on a hill among huge boulders
and age-old Tamboti trees, overlooking the endless bushveld of the
malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. Eleven luxurious glass-fronted
suites, each with its own veranda and private plunge pool, are set
amongst the boulders.
The unusual yet subtle décor combines natural
elements with the colours of Africa. In the main dining area, fine
cuisine is accompanied by a well-selected range of South African wines
from the cellar, while the boma offers the traditional and elegant
atmosphere of dining under African stars.
Black rhino, wild dog, giraffe and zebra roam
freely among the Big Five within the reserve. Early morning and late
afternoon/evening game-drives are conducted by experienced guides. |

Surrounded by pristine bushveld, Etali Safari Lodge
is an exclusive, intimate haven in the malaria-free Madikwe Game
Reserve. Etali, meaning “new beginning”, respects the privacy of guests

The state-of-the-art Wellness Centre is based on
holism and incorporates healing and rejuvenating body, mind and spirit.
Built from rugged indigenous stone, thatch and wood, laced together by
winding pathways, the eight luxurious air-conditioned suites are set
apart for total privacy.
The décor is a mixture of cool and earthy colours,
and the furniture, made from red-brown African kiaat, blends perfectly
with the custom-made ceramic washbasins. Expert rangers conduct
early-morning and late-afternoon game-drives, revealing the excitement

JACI'S SAFARI AND TREE LODGE
Situated in the malaria-free, 'Top Ten' Madikwe
Game Reserve, Jaci's Safari Lodge’s eight rooms and exclusive two
bed-roomed Nare suite have been designed to create a tented feel. Each
room has an open-plan bathroom with a hand-built rock bath and outdoor
shower, and private wooden viewing-decks overlooking a small stream.
Jaci's Tree Lodge’s eight tree houses are
constructed on stilts around giant trees in the riverine forest.
Open-plan, en-suite bathrooms include unique outdoor “jungle” showers.
Raised wooden walkways connect to the spacious Main
Lodge, which is curved around an ancient termite mound. After the
excitement of a game-drive or walk, conducted by experienced rangers,
guests can enjoy meals in the enclosed boma or a bush-braai under the
stars. Children are welcome. |

TAU GAME LODGE
Tau Game lodge is situated in the 75 000-ha,
malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. The 30 air-conditioned, thatched,
double chalets, each with an en-suite bathroom and private verandah,
overlook the waterhole and the mountainous landscape.
The lodge offers an excellent game-viewing
experience, including the Big Five, and is conveniently located just
four hours from Johannesburg and 40 minutes from Gaborone (Botswana).
Guests can relax at the
swimming-pool and, in the evenings can enjoy sundowners in the heart of
the reserve or on the bar-deck, which is suspended on stilts,
overlooking the water-hole. Dinners are served under the stars in the
fire-lit boma. The state-of-the-art convention centre caters for up to
150 delegates. |

TUNINGI SAFARI LODGE
Situated in the heart of the Big Five, malaria-free Madikwe Game
Reserve, only a three-and-a-half hours’ drive from Johannesburg, Tuningi
Safari Lodge offers highly personalised service in a friendly and
relaxed environment.
The main lodge has indoor and outdoor lounges, a dining-room, bar,
wrap-around wooden deck and rim-flow pool overlooking a waterhole. The
lodge is made up of four luxury bedrooms and two family suites; each
consisting of two bedrooms with an adjoining living area and a private
deck.
Fine cuisine, accompanied by an impressive selection of wines, is served
in the dining-room or in the open-air boma under the African stars.

MADIKWE RIVER LODGE
Surrounded by 75 000 hectares of malaria-free African sand veld, this
luxury lodge is ideally positioned on the Groot Marico River in the
heart of Madikwe Game Reserve. Experienced game rangers generously share
their intimate knowledge of the bush as you venture on your many safari
rides or game walks.
Madikwe River Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in sixteen secluded
split-level thatched chalets set in the cool tranquility of a riverine
forest. Each chalet is individually decorated to create a rich African
feel, and offer an en-suite bathroom and shower with a full range of
guest amenities, ceiling fans, complimentary tea and coffee making
facilities, and a private wooden viewing deck overlooking the river.
Luxury Suite features include a separate lounge area and an outside
shower. Madikwe River Lodge is a child-friendly establishment, and
offers six family rooms, with twin beds and an additional sleeper couch.
